What is your photography style?

My speciality is taking photos with genuine emotion and catching you in the moment. I have a strict no stiff posing policy (don’t worry, that’s on me since I’ll be directing you! 😊). I do all of my editing in Lightroom and the photo filter I choose depends on the setting and vibe of the photoshoot, but I usually lean toward a lighter, vibrant style. I also love black & white images and adding a grain effect. I do minimal retouching when editing and mainly rely on natural light. Do you offer custom presets or share unedited/raw images with clients?

I do not do custom preset (filter) requests. I base my editing style and preset selection on the vibe and vision that we plan prior to your photoshoot and what I determine to be the best fit. Because of this, please browse my portfolio page to ensure you like my editing style. Additionally, I do not share any unedited/raw images with clients.

What can I expect during my photo session?

I’ll be directing you with natural posing prompts throughout the entire photo session and we’ll jam to your favorite music playlist! Overall, it’s an easy-going atmosphere. We have a great time and create amazing memories! Truly, there’s no pressure and I’m there to make you feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera!

How far in advance should I book you?

Ideally, I’d love for you to reach out at least 2-3 weeks before your desired shoot date. But don’t hesitate to connect with me!

When should I expect to receive my digital photo album?

Depending on the length of the photoshoot & the amount of images, it can range from 2 weeks to 6 weeks. Make sure you factor this in when booking. But I do send sneak peek photos within one to two business days of the photoshoot so you can see a handful of images right away (because I know how hard it can be to wait)!

Do you travel to meet clients?

I currently only do photography sessions within the Twin Cities area, but might incorporate travel in the near future! I’ve also had clients travel to me from other states!

Do you take other types of photos (wedding, family, senior photos)?

While brand photography and portraits are my specialty, you’re welcome to reach out to see if I’m available for the type of photoshoot you have in mind. I do not offer wedding photography services at this time.
